Coca-Cola Egypt Takes Twitter Campaign to the Street

After the success of its previous Twitter campaign Etganen, Coca-Cola carries on the spirit during Ramadan with a #ليه_لأ (why not?) theme on TV, billboard and social media channels. With internet users sharing their ideas on how to make this Ramadan a peaceful, uniting month, Coca-Cola thought of a way to use these tweets to reach audience outside twitter with the same spirit.

On Twitter, users were urged to use the #ليه_لأ hashtag along their ideas through a promoted tweet. Here’s a look on the number of tweets using the hashtag since the campaign started with the beginning of the holy month:

But this isn’t all for the campaign, since July 17, Coca-Cola has announced that it will start illustrating some of the tweets using the hashtag on a big screen on Mehwar, one of the main roads in Cairo.

 

 

 

So far, Coca-Cola has produced 5 videos that included almost 50 illustrated tweets. The official Coca-Cola Egypt Twitter account has also made it a point to mention the users involved in the video so they can see their tweets.
